I wanted to make a more shabby chic looking box.
First I painted the box with gesso.
Then I used broken china and spun sugar distress paint and some Tattered Angels gold terracota spray.
When this was dry I used two stencils and modeling paste to add some texture.
As you can see I added a cluster of flowers on top of the box. The flowers are a mixture from Magnolia, Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts Flowers.Underneath it I glued some lace and a crochet doily. Finally I glued two Prima shabbi chic treasures on the box.
The inside is covered with white paint and some rosette trim.
